Fine Print: The above rates are based on the following conditions:

1.  Travel distance: Performance location is within 50 miles of downtown Sacramento. Longer distances may require additional compensation for travel time, transportation costs, and for lodging if out-of-town overnight stay is required.

2.  Music Program: The bandleader selects the tunes to be played, which may include random requests from listeners. The band is not required to perform a "show" or employer-selected list of tunes, or to accompany any singer or instrumentalist who is not part of  the band. The band  is not required to practice or rehearse with any non-band person wanting to perform with the band. We can provide such accompaniment services, for additional compensation.

3.  Timely arrival and departure: Band is allowed to set up it's equipment within forty-five minutes before the contracted start of the performance, and to remove it's equipment and depart within fifteen minutes of the contracted ending time.  If the band is required to setup earlier or must stay longer in order to remove equipment, the extra time will be considered performance overtime and charged for accordingly.

3.  Clear access to bandstand: At least a three foot corridor between the entrance and the bandstand must be available for moving band equipment to and from the performance.

4.  Attire: Band can choose it's own uniform clothing.  Rental or purchase of any special costuming required by the purchaser must be paid for by the purchaser. (We have been required to wear sports referee shirts, firemen's helmets, construction hard hats, etc.)  Tuxedos are not considered special costumes, and may be requested by the purchaser at no additional cost.
